Update on Legislation
Unit Titles (Strengthening Body Corporate Governance and Other Matters) Amendment Bill is progressing through the legislative process.
For the first time, the legislation is recognising the difference in needs amongst different sized body corporates.
A small body corporate is defined as fewer than 10 units.
A medium residential development is defined as between 10 and 29 units.
Each day we will update our website with details of the anticipated changes to the legislation.
A large residential development is defined as having 30 or more principal units.
Note: this distinction is only applying to residential developments.
